BA Philosophy

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy is a three-year undergraduate degree course that is divided into six semesters and this course introduces students to the great philosophers and their ideas and how one thinks about contemporary problems through the lens of their theories. This course provides students an in-depth knowledge of the history of Western philosophy, fundamental philosophical issues, and the ideas of great philosophers. The students will study subjects like Basic Logical Concepts, Traditional Logic, Indian Philosophy, Western Philosophy, and  Concept of Man and Humanity.

BA Philosophy Eligibility

Candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination in any stream preferably with the minimum aggregate of 50% marks or above from the respective college for full time course.  Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45-50% marks from a recognized board for distance education and online. 

BA Philosophy Admission

Aspiring candidates can get admission in BA Philosophy  course by any of the two ways adopted by various government and private institutes by direct admission process or Entrance exam. Some institutes may give weightage to both the qualifying exam scores and entrance exams scores to provide admission to BA Philosophy course. For general admission students can fill the application form and pay the admission fee.
