CAT Registration 2024 Window Closes Today at 5 PM. Last Chance to Apply for CAT 2024.

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta will close the CAT Registration window today at 5 PM. The registration process of Common Admission Test (CAT) was supposed to end on September 13, 2024 but the deadline got extended till today i.e. September 20, 2024. Interested candidates must register themselves for the entrance exam by visiting the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in by 5 PM today. 

After the registration process concludes successfully, IIM Calcutta will open the application correction window for 2-3 days. The window allows candidates to make changes or corrections in a few details filled in by them. Candidates are advised to keep a close check at the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in.

CAT 2024 Registration - How to Apply for CAT 2024?

Below mentioned are the steps to "How to Fill CAT Application Form?":

  • Visit the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in.
  • Register yourself and create a CAT Login ID and Password.
  • The contact details will be verified by sending an OTP to the registered email address and mobile number. It verifies the registration process.
  • Once the details are verified, candidates will receive the User ID and password on the email id and mobile number provided.
  • Log in with the id and password generated and sent to your registered email id and phone number. 
  • Fill the CAT 2024 Application Form with correct details.
  • Process the payment of CAT Application Fees via any online payment gateway.
  • Review the CAT Exam Form and submit it. 
  • Candidates must make sure that the details filled in by them are correct as most of the details can not be changed or corrected even when the correction window is made available. 

When Will CAT 2024 Admit Card Be Released?

The CAT Admit Card is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2024. As per the official notice released on the CAT website, CAT 2024 will be conducted across 170 cities and 3 shifts on November 24, 2024. 

What is the fees for CAT Exam?

Candidates who are willing to register themselves for the exam must pay INR 2500 as cat exam fees while filling the cat application form. The fee for general category candidates is INR 2500 while the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category must pay INR 1250 as cat application fees.
