Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy, Hyderabad Courses and Fees Details
- Commercial Pilot License: This course benefits students who want to join airline companies as pilots. The course lasts 18 to 24 months, and the prerequisites are 10+2 in Physics and Mathematics, being at least 18 years old, having a Class 1 Medical, and having a police verification. The course fee is Rs. 35 lakhs, which covers ground instruction, flight instruction, simulator instruction, and exam costs.
- Private Pilot License (PPL): People who desire to fly for leisure or their own needs should take this course. The course lasts 6 to 8 months, and the prerequisites are completion of the 10th standard, being at least 17 years old, a Class 2 medical, and police verification. The tuition for the course is Rs. 8 lakhs, which covers ground instruction, flight instruction, and examination costs.
- Instrument Rating (IR): This training prepares pilots to use instruments to fly in poor visibility and inclement weather. The course lasts for three to four months, and the prerequisites are having a PPL or CPL, having a Class 1 or 2 medical, and having your police record verified. The course fee is Rs. 12 lakhs, which covers ground instruction, flight instruction, simulator instruction, and exam costs.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME): This course enables pilots to fly multi-engine aircraft with more power and performance. The duration of the course is 1 to 2 months, and the eligibility criteria is candidate should be a PPL or CPL holder, Class 1 or 2 Medical, and Police Verification. The course fee is Rs. 8 lakhs, which includes ground training, flying training, simulator training, and examination fees.
- Simulator Training: Through the use of cutting-edge technology, this course offers pilots a realistic simulation of diverse flight circumstances. Depending on the pilot’s desired level of expertise, the course’s length varies. PPL or CPL holder, Class 1 or 2 Medical, and Police Verification are the requirements for qualifying. The cost of the course is determined by the kind of simulator utilized and the amount of reserved hours.
- Multi-Engine Rating: The course covers aerodynamics, systems, and procedures focusing on increasing the safety and proficiency levels of pilots. The students are given Type Rating (TR) and Instrument Rating (IR) on a twin-engine aircraft. Educational requirements for this course are that a candidate should have a Private/commercial license, Current FRTO, and COP/RT/R License.
