RCE is located on the outskirts of Roorkee town on Roorkee Haridwar, Canal Road. It is spread over an area of 25 acres with pollution free atmosphere.

  • RCE provides hostel accommodation to its students and the rooms are well-furnished, hygienic and have ultra-modern facilities.
  • There are separate hostels for girls and boys and they can accommodate 600 boys and 150 girls.
  • The hostels are WiFi enabled and the security guards are present 24x7 for the safety of the students.
  • The Institute has a spacious cafeteria which provides hygienic food to the students. The food is served at a very reasonable cost.
  • In addition to that the Institute provides ample sports facilities for the overall development of the students. Medical facility is available round the clock for the students as well as the staff.
  • The Institute provides transportation facilities to the students.
  • The Institute also has a well-established library which is stocked with thousands of books.

Roorkee College of Engineering (RCE Roorkee) Courses

The Institute provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses under various disciplines. This enables the students to choose their course according to their field of interest.

RCE courses include B.Tech, BBA, BCom, BCA, B.Sc(Agriculture), B.Sc Forestry, BHM, BA (Toursim Management), B.Sc (Animation & Multimedia) at the undergraduate level. The basic eligiblity of the courses is 12th pass with 45% marks in relevant stream. At the postgraduate level it provides degree in M.Tech. The College also provides Diploma course in engineering and pharmacy. Additionally, the college also offers lateral entry into B.tech and B.Pharma courses.

The students have to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in these courses.

Roorkee College of Engineering (RCE Roorkee) Admisison Process

The students get admission in engineering courses through state/national level entrance Examinations. Admission to B.Tech programme will be offered based on the score of JEE MAIN. Admission to M.Tech will be on the basis of the GATE score. Roorkee College of Engineering admission to the other courses is on the basis of merit in Senior Secondary School.

Candidates can apply to these courses through offline as well as online mode. The candidates must go through the website and read the instructions carefully.

Roorkee College of Engineering (RCE Roorkee) Scolarship

The Institute also offers scholarship to the deserving students. The students scoring above 75% marks in any semester are given academic excellence award of Rs.5000.
