The admissions in different courses are subject to the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The students are given admission under two categories:

Category A: 70% of the total seats are filled under this category. The candidates have to qualify entrance examinations to secure a seat in the course.

Category B: 30% of the total seats are filled under this Quota. These seats are filled by the management through an advertisement in the newspaper.

Why to choose VVIT?

VVIT, one of the two private engineering colleges among the 300 engineering colleges in the state, has been selected by the AP State Government to host Siemens’ Center of Excellence. This center is equipped with fifteen industry-oriented laboratories, providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to the latest technologies.

The college has also established a skill development center in collaboration with AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), Hyderabad. This initiative aims to enhance the employability of students and unemployed youth in the region by imparting valuable skills.

VVIT actively participates in various entrepreneurship programs to foster an innovative mindset among its students. The college conducts the ’TEP’ (Technology Entrepreneurship Program) in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, through its Entrepreneurship Development Cell.

The college also emphasizes industry exposure through its ’iSpark program’ conducted by INFOSYS Technologies. Over 300 students per year visit the Infosys Hyderabad campus to gain insights into real-world industry expectations, thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry.
