The admission procedure of Kalinga University varies from one program to another. The university has total of fourteen departments and it offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs under several specializations. It also offers Diploma and Integrated courses. Admission to Undergraduate Programs

Kalinga University offers various programs at the undergraduate level and these programs are offered under several specializations thus, offering students a pool of options to choose from. The basic requirement for being able to get admission to the undergraduate program is to have passed senior secondary school from a recognized board.

• The university offers BBA, B. Tech, Diploma in Engineering, B. Sc., B. Com., BBA, BCA, Bachelor in Animation and VFX, Diploma in Computer Application, BA, LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, B. Pharm, and B. Lib. at the undergraduate level.
• The candidates are shortlisted based on the merit list released by the university.
• The merit list released by the university is decided based on the marks obtained by candidates in senior secondary school.
• The seat allocation is done based on candidates rank in the waiting list.

Admission to Postgraduate Programs

Kalinga University Courses include fourteen full time departmental PG courses.  The basic requirement to be eligible for admission to the PG program is to hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

• M. Sc., MA, MSW, LLM, MCA, MBA, PGDCA, M. Com., etc. are the programs offered at the postgraduate level.
• Candidates seeking admission to any of the postgraduate programs are shortlisted based on the merit in their graduation.
• Admission is done based on the guidance defined on the official website of the university.

Minimum Educational Qualification

For Undergraduate Programs

• Candidates seeking admission to BBA and B. Sc must have passed senior secondary school from a recognized board.
• For admission to B. Tech, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• For admission to LLB, BA LLB, and BBA LLB, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• Admission to B. Lib. requires graduation in any field.

For Postgraduate Programs

• Candidates seeking admission to M. Sc must hold a B. Sc degree in the relevant field.
• For admission to MA, the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
• For admission to LLM, the candidates must secure 45% marks in aggregate in LLB.
• Candidates seeking admission to MCA must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Admission to PGDCA and MBA requires a bachelor’s degree in any field.
• For admission to M. Lib. the candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in B. Lib.
• Admission to M. Com requires a bachelor’s degree in B. Com.
• Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech must possess a bachelor’s degree in B. E./B. Tech in any field from a recognized university.

Application Procedure of Kalinga University

Kalinga University accepts both online and offline mode of application. Students can choose application mode as per their convenience.

• For online mode of application, the candidates must visit the university’s official website and fill the application form online by clicking the Admission tab.
• For offline mode of application, the candidates are advised to download the application available on the official website of the university. Fill the application form and submit it to the concerned office of Kalinga University.
• The candidates must ensure that they process the payment of INR 500 as application fee while filling the application form. For online mode, the payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or net banking and for offline mode, the payment is to be made through demand draft drawn in favor of “Kalinga University” payable at Raipur.
